The General Thomas F. Meagher Division of the AOH strongly supports Catholic education, and we have once again presented scholastic awards to selected 8th grade students from Saint Patrick Catholic School and Holy Cross Academy who will be attending a Catholic high school. Using their own selection criteria, in addition to our requirement that they must be planning to attend a Catholic high school, each school selected three students to receive a scholastic award this year and each of them will receive $500.00 in tuition assistance. Division President Dennis O’Reilly attended their graduation ceremonies to congratulate the students and present the certificates. Following the graduation, checks will be sent to the appropriate schools to help with their tuition.

The scholastic award winners for Saint Patrick School are Christal Amoako, Renee Bernier, and Wyatt Brito. Christal and Wyatt are planning to attend Saint Michael the Archangel High School, and Renee is planning to attend Saint John Paul the Great High School in the fall.
