The General Thomas F. Meagher Division elected its officer cadre for the 2024-
2025 term in November 2023 and State President Bob Fay installed them in a traditional
ceremony in December. The elected officers are President Dennis O’Reilly, Vice President
Jack McGovern, Reporting Secretary Bill Halpin, Financial Secretary Jeff Everett,
Treasurer Dave McLaughlin, Standing Committee Chair Bill Hallahan, Marshal
Tim Lynch, and Sentinel Neil Hornung. Deacon Aaron Zaccagnino was also approved by the Diocese to continue to serve as the Division Chaplain for the upcoming year.
These officers bring a wealth of knowledge and Hibernian leadership experience to
the division. For example, President O’Reilly, Vice President McGovern, Marshal
Lynch, Reporting Secretary Halpin, and Treasurer McLaughlin have more than 15
combined years of experience in leading Hibernian divisions in Fredericksburg and
in other jurisdictions. We’re looking forward to an exciting and eventful next few
